Claws (0-1) recorded a loss at the home court on Sunday night. Hosts were rolled over by Boomers (2-0) 98-62. Boomers outrebounded Claws 49-32 including 21 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was David Robins who scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Kevin Lewis (193-90, college: Louisiana Coll.) chipped in 13 points and 6 rebounds. Five Boomers players scored in double figures. Boomers' coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Dadrian Gage who recorded 24 points and 5 rebounds and Jordan Elcock added 21 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

Another exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Atlanta: Savage (#1) and Ice (#3). Savage (3-0) won against visiting Ice (1-2) 82-70. Savage looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for forward Ron Bonner (201, college: Black Hawk) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Brandon OBrien (201-90, college: Clark Atlanta) helped adding 14 points and 8 rebounds. O'Brien is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Savage players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was forward Dominique Holmes (198-84, college: SPSU) with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and Josh White scored 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Savage will meet GIE Maile Matrix in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Ice will play against Energy and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Chris Wilson accounted for 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Five Boomers players scored in double figures. Point guard Al Francis (191-96, college: McNeese St.) came up with 23 points and 5 rebounds and Montreal Nabors (188, college: Fisk) added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Timberwolves in the defeat. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.

An exciting game was played in Morrow. GIE Maile Matrix faced Kings. Host GIE Maile Matrix (2-1) defeated guests from Atlanta (1-2) 84-78. GIE Maile Matrix outrebounded Kings 44-31 including 19 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 6 passes made by Kings' players. The best player for the winners was forward Erron Maxey (198-78, college: Providence) who had a double-double by scoring 30 points and 17 rebounds. Guard Josh Montgomery (196-91, college: SSU) chipped in 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Four GIE Maile Matrix players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Ezroy Thompson (183-95) who recorded 29 points and forward Kian Dalyrimple (196, college: New Haven) added 22 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Kings' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. GIE Maile Matrix will face Savage in Atlanta in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Kings will play against Vipers and hope to win that game.

Another exciting game where Energy (1-2) edged by two points Vipers (0-3) 85-83. Vipers were very close to get their first win. But it seems they have to wait a little bit longer. It was a good game for guard Demetrice Terrell (, college: Allen) who led his team to a victory with 22 points and 6 rebounds. Center Reed Braxton contributed with 21 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Demarrio Nelson (206-87, college: Shawnee CC) answered with 22 points and 7 rebounds and Wintarrius Pollard added 21 points and 4 assists in the effort for Vipers. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Energy will play against Ice (#3) in Atlanta in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Vipers will play on the road against Kings in Atlanta and hope to get finally their first victory.

There was a minor upset when Predators (0-1) were crushed at home by Fort Worth F.I.R.M. (3-0) 100-80 on Sunday. Fort Worth F.I.R.M. will have a break next round. Predators will play again on the road against Fort Worth F.I.R.M. and look forward to get finally their first victory.
